The objective and core message of the presentation will be a pitch delivered to a potential investor.

The Problem

Creatives face one major problem that I’ve gone through, and many of my friends have: nobody understands them. Neither their «weird» ideas nor the challenges they are confronting. Relatives will say, «Just get a normal job and be like the rest of us.»

So, many creatives listen to these voices and end up in a conventional job. Their poetry, music, or art becomes just a hobby. Years pass, and they start feeling a lack of creative community. That’s the moment they need «the swarm of diggers.»

The idea

«The Swarm of Diggers» brings all creatives together. It’s a community on Telegram where we post useful art tips, share spiritual wisdom, and discuss participants’ work.

It was a university project I completed for a «creative entrepreneurship» course. I have focused primarily on the business side of my startup and developed a working business model.

The target audience

Women aged 25–30. Creative hobbyists who work full-time. They lack a creative outlet in their professional and social circles, feeling as though there is no one to share their artistic passion with. They are looking to connect with a like-minded creative community.

The «Swarm» project (swarm of diggers)

I translated the project name as «The Swarm of Diggers» to preserve the wordplay. In the original Russian context, the word «roy» has two meanings: «swarm» and «to dig.» It refers to people who seek something together.

Here are the slides from my presentation to show you a real part of the project.

The «Not Alone» project

For the project «Not Alone, ” I designed the visual identity for the creative community „The Swarm of Diggers, ” for which I had developed a business model.

I understood that it needed to feel friendly and warm. We aim to bring people together, providing support and knowledge for everyone. I designed a series of illustrations—ducks and the mother duck. The goal of this visual was to portray the community as a family where every member is united and cares for one another.

The copywriting is thoughtful. I wanted to convey that we are a safe space, so the first line is a perceived «weakness» based on how we initially thought about it. But the second line pivots to «we like it.» For example, «You are too loud. We like it.» That is how we deliver our community message—even if you feel you are broken, we welcome you because we are all a little bit «broken.»

Project Execution

But this work turned out to be more than just a university project. I ran a social media campaign, posted numerous videos daily, and attracted over 300 subscribers to my Telegram community channel.

The next step

I am planning to create a course for creatives within my community. The first one will focus on how to promote oneself as an artist. I want to make this course robust, so I need to hire real experts in the field—and they command a significant fee. Therefore, I am seeking investment. The margin for this educational business is projected to be around 70%. If you invest, for example, $1,000 now, and maintain the same growth rate, you will receive $3,000 within the next three to five months. If you are ready, please feel free to text me.
