The concept is based on the image of Sir Simon’s manacles: massive, heavy letterforms connected by thin shackle-like lines, as if a spirit constrained within castle walls. The disrupted proportions and the static nature of the glyphs create a sense of age-old immobility, while the rare «unlocked» forms allow the shape a breath—much like Virginia grants a ghost its long-awaited peace.
