Texture of Time: The Façade’s Memory
Development of a silk scarf featuring an original print inspired by the facade of Tolstoy’s House.
The building’s facade is examined as a material carrier of memory, where the traces of time become part of its identity. Stains, scuffs, and layers are reinterpreted in the original print, transforming into visual testimonies of lived history. Transferring architectural textures onto silk explores the interaction between matter and memory, allowing the image of the building to be preserved beyond its physical form.
