Matsuev Fest

Denis Matsuev’s Summer Festival in Suzdal is an annual, large-scale celebration of classical and jazz music, held within the walls of the Suzdal Kremlin.

This project presents a fresh interpretation of the Festival’s identity. The logo features the condensed and concise name Matsuev Fest, blending grotesque typography with dancing antique typefaces to mirror the fusion of musical styles celebrated at the festival.

Strict grid layouts are paired with risograph patterns. The colors and patterns navigate between the classical and jazz concerts featured at the festival.
