Immovable Force
Heavy machinery appears eternal precisely because its power is exhausted: the human perceives not true strength, but a monument to itself—a strength that is no longer dynamic, it has simply ceased to act. Transient metamorphoses prevent anything from retaining its original meaning, constantly shifting the initial sense. The project hinges on contrast: static images of structures once created to conquer time and space, set against the dynamic, dispersed structure of dates. One accentuates the illusory nature of the other, and they balance within this tension.
