GRANG: THE VULNERABLE REBELLION
The aesthetic of grunge is often associated with the visual language of teenage rebellion. This protest is filled with vulnerability: spikes, chains, and pins not only express a desire to be seen but also create a kind of armor. In my project, the shell becomes its natural embodiment—a hard, yet fragile casing created by nature to protect delicate contents.

By piercing it with metal, I reveal a fragility that persists beneath extravagant external displays. The necklace combines materials of opposing spirits, conveying the conflict between the drive to attract attention and the need for self-protection.
