As part of the «Factory» project, I created a small statue of a mutated boy. Items like this are perfect for unique interior design solutions for a home.

The model was created using sculptural clay. I assume this is the piece from which the silicone mold for casting will be made. In the final version, the figure must retain all its imperfect irregularities.
The final material is plaster: it accurately captures form, is suitable for silicone casting, and allows for limited-run reproductions of the object.
The 3D model is not used—a plasticine sculpture serves as the master model. This preserves the artist’s hand-sculpting: irregularities and tool marks are transferred into the casting.
The process chain: master model — silicone mold — plaster cast — drying — cleaning — toning — packaging.
The mold can withstand several casts. The fragility of the plaster is accounted for in advance: wall thickness and packaging have been thoughtfully designed.
