Concept
The foundation of this work is the Divo display font, which is inspired by Slavic aesthetics, folk ornaments, and fairy tale motifs.
For the tapestry, the folk saying «Don’t stir up trouble while it’s quiet» was chosen, referencing ancient beliefs and superstitions. Bold, expressive typography is paired with a botanical ornament that evokes traditional embroidery and carved patterns.
The tapestry unites folkloric aesthetics with contemporary graphic design, reinterpreting familiar folk motifs through a bespoke typeface.
