Geometric Patterns in Russian Avant-garde

The inspiration for this project stemmed from Russian avant-garde art and the works of Varvara Stepanova and Lyubov Popova. I was particularly drawn to the geometric forms, dynamic compositions, and color palettes that lend these abstract patterns a recognizable Russian character. My goal is to reinterpret this artistic direction in a contemporary style to create patterns for accessible museum souvenirs—items that allow visitors to take home a piece of art and a memory of the museum.
