«How many abandoned properties, gardens launched in Russian literature, and with what love they have always been described! Why is the Russian soul so sweet, so encouragingly empty, so quiet, so broken?» Ivan Boonin wrote. Neglect (Ne Geworfenheit) in the philosophy of existentialism means the inevitable assumption of responsibility for being yourself and, at the same time, the impossibility of being understood. In each frame of the project, there are two main heroes: the former noble estate in a state of disintegration and the mysterious clot of light travelling along it. «Heroes» are in dialogue with each other: they are both abandoned — one in this world, the other in this world. «The abandoned ruins of the old estates» are on the one hand, and on the other, the condition of a man of the postmodern era who was born without his own will in this world, thrown into it, and all he (and all of us) is left to wander in the darkness, highlighting with his own attention certain fragments of reality.
