The project explores the multiplicity of the human personality and the dizzying impossibility of grasping the true nature of the self. The attempt to capture a person’s authentic face turns into a series of repeating reflections. Long exposure and blur convey the elusiveness, variability, and contradiction inherent in the human essence. Photographs of nighttime streets, streetlights, and traffic signals become an extension of the mirrored tunnel, blurring the line between reflection and reality. The sickly green palette and stark artificial light amplify the sensation of nausea, dizziness, and disorientation. The viewer seems to find themselves in an infinite mirrored corridor where each new reflection promises to bring them closer to the truth, yet only multiplies its potential forms.
